Weekly Top 5

Though I have plenty to rant and complain about, I have decided to keep my first post on Hopeless Dick heads on a positive note with my weekly top 5.

5. Gus: the burnt leather skinned man with the ghetto chopper bicycle:

The most interesting character that I have come in counter with thus far at my new apartment complex would have be Gus: the burnt leather skinned man with the ghetto bicycle. Since living at my new complex, from around 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. I can count on seeing Gus circling the complex on his ghetto chopper handle bar biking with no shirt on and cut off jeans, sporting his more than likely malignant football like skin. He literally looks like Spawn. It is admiring to see an elderly gentle man getting some excise and sucking in some vitamin D, and enjoyable to be reminded of the awful 90's film staring Michael Jai White, Martin Sheen and John Leguizamo. Seeing Gus always puts a smile on my face.
* I actually have no idea of this man's real name, but felt Gus seemed fitting.

4. Nutella: In great thanks to Drew's Pastry Place, I acquired a jar of Nutella, the delicious hazelnut spread. In the mornings before heading to class I have been enjoying it spread on a whole wheat english muffin with slices of banana.

3. Bike Rides through Memorial Park: What a perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon in Houston.

2. Oatmeal Raisen Cookies: Whether it be my mothers, Wholefoods, or Drew's Pastry place, I have enjoyed my favorite desert more than once this week.

1. Pearl Jam-Ten: One of my favorite albums featuring classic hits like Evenflow, Black, Alive and Jeremey. Was happy to find it on vinyl this week. Brings me back to my youth. How I miss the 90's.

Rants are soon to come.
